Citizen science project are becoming more widespread and useful to create valid scientific research, but are they effective in reaching their communities? With the survey “A portrait of Science Communication Strategies by Citizen Science projects” we are studying the ways used by projects across the European Union and United Kingdom to communicate with their audience, be it members of the general public, enterpreneurs, professional scientists, policy makers and more.
If you are a citizen science practitioner involved in a project in the EU or UK, take part to our study by completing this survey (it will take about 15 minutes).

The survey “A portrait of Science Communication Strategies by Citizen Science projects” will be open until the end of February 2021.
A first iteration of the survey was conducted between June and July 2020. Since then, we analysed a first batch of data and got some promising preliminary results, but there’s still many projects we want to hear about, out there!
For more information on the survey or to keep in touch on the outcomes of our research, you can write us at info@newsera2020.eu
