Tomorrow is the last day to register to the “Citizen science applied to natural and cultural heritage education” course by the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Ciudad Real, Spain! The course will be held online on October 21 and 22, 2022, and is aimed at active teachers, professionals in formal or non-formal education, education students, or in general to people interested in the popularisation of science. It’s also a continuing education activity for non-university teachers approved by the JCCM.

The course addresses, through practical cases, the didactic potential of citizen science to improve the learning motivation of students, interrelating different disciplines, bringing science and critical thinking closer to the classroom and improving the knowledge of rural, natural and cultural heritage.

It’s organised by the Vice-rectorate for Culture, Sport and Social Responsibility, in collaboration with the Institute for Research in Hunting Resources, the Faculty of Education of Ciudad Real, the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (Regional Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports) and Science for Change.

NEWSERA will participate in the course by holding one talk, at the very beginning of the first day of the course.
