Join us at SciCom Pt 2022 on May 13th, at the beautiful Azores islands! NEWSERA will participate at the the 10th edition of the Annual Science Communication Congress – SciComPt 2022, that will be held from May 11th to May 13th in various locations in Ponta Delgada and Lagoa within São Miguel Island.
This edition of SciCom Pt focuses on one particular issue: “Is it possible to communicate science in any region?”
Science communication opens the doors of scientific institutions and takes science to citizens, inside and outside the places where knowledge is produced – sometimes many kilometers away. Some territories have a more diversified offer, other regions have fewer science communication agents, but it is still possible to promote activities beyond the borders of large metropolitan areas and demonstrate the role of science as an engine of development and innovation in the region.
NEWSERA will contribute to explore the theme of decentralization of science communication during the “Expo SciCom Pt” session:
