NEWSERA at the Thinking Citizen Science Conference

NEWSERA will participate in the conference Thinking Citizen Science – Challenges and opportunities for the Social Sciences, that will be held at the Faculty of Arts of the  University of Porto on September 29, 2022. The conference invites academics, citizen scientists and all those interested, to discuss the characteristics, benefits and challenges of using citizen science in social sciences, during a public event.

NEWSERA will be featured during a presentation, which will give an account of the project so far and present the 12 Portuguese pilot projects involved in NEWSERA, as well as how they are improving their communication to better reach of different stakeholders in the quadruple-helix.

The conference is promoted by the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto, in partnership with the Portuguese Citizen Science Network, and counts with the special participation of Josep Perelló (University of Barcelona) and the extended commentary by Ana Delicado (University of Lisbon).
