Science for Change was born from the will to tackle societal challenges affecting communities using innovative solutions. It specializes in developing user-centered, innovative services and products based on citizen science, participatory strategies, community engagement and co-creation processes to facilitate social innovation.
The University of Padova
The University of Padova is among the oldest universities in the world, being founded in 1222, and is an internationally renowned research institution. The department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology hosts the Padua Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (Pa.S.T.I.S.) research unit, the most important academic research center expressly devoted to STS research in Italy.
FCiências.ID – Associação para a Investigação e Desenvolvimento de Ciências is a Non-Profit Private Association created as a common initiative of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) and 6 private companies to support R&D and innovation activities of its associates, while enhancing FCUL strategic partnerships with market and services companies, therefore creating a more challenging environment for research and innovation. FCiências.ID is the legal representative of 20 research centers, in several scientific fields. The research centres involved in NEWSERA are the Interuniversity Centre of History of Science and Technology (CIUHCT) and the Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes (cE3c).

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology
The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology is a public foundation with the mission to drive forward science, technology and innovation, promote their integration and proximity to society and respond to the needs of the Spanish Technology and Business System (SECTE).
IBERCIVIS is the national private non-for-profit foundation devoted to citizen science in Spain. It has deployed more than 60 experiments from 40 different research groups reaching over 60.000 citizen scientists. The set of experiments include volunteer computing, volunteer sensing, participatory experiments, or collective intelligence projects among others.
Formicablu S.r.l. is an Italian SME engaged in science communication through a multidisciplinary strategy based on journalism and storytelling formats and languages. Founded in 2005, Formicablu has been designing the communication strategy and developing dissemination activities for national and EU research projects. Formicablu is actively involved in the European Open Data movement and in data journalism projects.
