    Analysis and evaluation of current science communication practices in the citizen science landscape at European level, in terms of effectiveness (quantity, limits) and perception of outcome and general experience (open up of science, trust, needs, motivations, limits). Comparison of the profile of citizen science projects and their limits in involving different profiles of participants through two research techniques: document analysis and interviews (WP leader: UNIPD)

  • WP3 - Co-design of innovative strategies in Citizen Science Communication

    Establishing the NEWSERA #CitSciComm Labs to co-design innovative strategies to improve quality and effectiveness of science communication, the perception and trust in science and fight misinformation. The co-design process will consider both digital and non-digital participatory strategies (WP leader: FECYT)

    Monitoring and controlling the implementation of the co-design strategies in the five pilots (WP4) using an Agile framework methodology by iterative innovation cycles of Codesign/Implementation/Evaluation. Final results, methodologies and conclusion will inform the creation of recommendations and guidelines (WP leader: FC.ID)
